The age of children admitted to the centre is from birth till 15 years, with focus on children with Cerebral Palsy, Neuromuscular Diseases, Pediatric Limb Deficiencies, Congenital Malformations, Post Musculoskeletal Traumas, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Communicative Disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD).
These children receive treatment at our Child Rehabilitation Department that consists of the following units.
For children arriving from West Bank and the Gaza Strip the rehabilitation program cycle varies from 2 to 3 weeks of continuous intensive therapy for the child with the presence of the mother. Children usually are in need of more than one cycle of rehabilitation over few years in order to ensure that they reach the maximum level of independence. For children with disabilities from Jerusalem, they receive services on a regular weekly basis with no need to sleep at the centre as they live close by.
