The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre receives a delegation from the Diocese of Pennsylvania

The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre received a delegation from the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania led by Bishop Daniel Gutierrez. The visit included a tour of the Child Rehabilitation Centre. The purpose of the visit was to view the major updates and developments at the Centre, in addition, to express support for the services provided, given that the Diocese of Pennsylvania is a longstanding partner of the Basma Centre.

The General Director of the Basma Centre, Mrs. Violette Mubarak, welcomed this visit and pointed out the importance of highlighting the services provided for Palestinian children with disabilities given their significance and that the need for these services is so great. At the same time, she expressed gratitude for the commitment of the Diocese of Pennsylvania and their constant efforts to follow and support developments in the work at the Centre.

Mrs. Violette Mubarak presented Father Matthew Welch with a trophy as a souvenir of gratitude and appreciation for his commitment to supporting the work of the Centre by being part of the International Steering Committee that supports the work of the Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre.

While Father Matthew emphasized the importance of the Centre's role in serving Palestinian children, especially those with disabilities, and called on pilgrims to continue spreading the Centre's message and supporting the right of Palestinian children with disabilities to equal opportunities.
