The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre received a group from the Diocese of Pennsylvania, is a longstanding friend and supporter of the center

The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre was delighted to welcome back the Rt. Reverend Daniel Gutierrez, Bishop of the Diocese of Pennsylvania, is a longstanding friend and supporter of the center. Leading a pilgrim group from his diocese, he commended our work with children with disabilities and their families, emphasizing the Christian call to show the love of God through service in all corners of our world.

The Rev. Canon Matthew Dayton-Welch, Rector of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania Canon for the Holy Land, compared the Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre to a modern day Pools of Bethesda, where miracles of healing and renewal of hope happen.

The visit included a tour of all the facilities of the organization, starting from the Rehabilitation Centre through the Kindergarten to the Inclusive School. During the tour, the General Director of JPBC, Mrs. Violette Mubarak, emphasized our vision that seeks to provide equal access to Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Inclusive Education for Palestinian children with disabilities, in addition to enabling them to achieve their aspirations.

Mrs. Mubarak also clarified the most important needs for the development of the Centre. She also emphasized that fulfilling these needs will enable us to support the continuation of our services to Palestinian children with disabilities, whilst praising the continuous support provided by the Diocese of Pennsylvania to the institution.

We are most grateful for the prayers, presence, and support of all our friends in the Diocese of Pennsylvania during these long months of the pandemic. Our thanks to them and all our friends across the world for the much needed encouragement and practical help which sustained us through this time and into the next phase of our work.
