The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre received the Executive Director of the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (AFEDJ), Mr. John Lent, and his wife Mrs. Pamela Lent. Mr. Lent has been a committed and enthusiastic supporter of the Basma Centre for many years, standing alongside as it continued its service provision.
The General Director of the Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre, Violette Mubarak welcomed this visit and explained the development at the Centre through a tour of all the facilities.
Mrs. Mubarak expressed her pride in the partnership with the American Friends which has greatly contributed to supporting and developing the organization over the years.
She also thanked Mr. Lent, praising him in his role in helping to sustain the work of the organization and deliver our message to the world.
From his side, Mr. Lent expresses his admiration for the services provided by the Basma Centre. He also stressed the uniqueness of the services provided in the Child Rehabilitation Centre and the Inclusive school.
It is worth of mentioning that a partnership between the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, and the Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre was established in 1988.
